NEWSLETTER: Special Holiday Edition, 2012

Happy Holidays!

Thanks to you, we had a great 2012. Your support allowed us to connect 4,500 students to nature through hands-on field trips, produce family friendly festivals, and harness over 15,000 volunteer hours for park enhancement. We couldn’t do any of this without donations from people like you.

Please consider an end-of-year gift to help further our mission of providing community leadership for the development and active use of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship.

Other ways you can help include corporate matching and legacy gifts. You might be able to double your contribution If you work for one of the many generous companies in Silicon Valley that offer a matching gift program! The paperwork is usually a single page or an online form.

The creation of an iconic park takes many people working over many years. This project – the creation of San Jose’s central park – will benefit our families and the entire community for generations to come. Please consider making a legacy gift by including Guadalupe River Park Conservancy in your estate plans. Your attorney, CPA, or financial planner can help you craft an estate plan that provides for your favorite charities at little or no expense to your loved ones.
