Guadalupe River Park Conservancy

Provided meaningful projects and a fulfilling experience for individual and corporate workday volunteers – over 16,000 volunteer hours in 2013!

  • Coordinated the upkeep of the Heritage Rose Garden and Historic Orchard
  • Performed 20 river clean ups
  • Paid for the ongoing operating costs of the Visitor Center, freeing up city resources for other projects
  • Helped rescue an injured beaver and championed encampment removals to protect the river’s Chinook Salmon and Steelhead Trout and diverse birdlife
We couldn’t do any of this without community support; less than 10% of our budget comes from government funds. Please consider making a tax-deductible, year-end gift to support our efforts to create and maintain an iconic park in downtown San Jose.

Looking for tributes?  Please consider our Adopt-a-Rose program, Park Benches, or Granite Pavers. Call 408-298-7657 for more information.
