River Stewards Project

With the help of Cisco and other volunteers, we planted native grasses, oak woodland plants, and some chaparral shrubs just off the lower trail at Coleman Ave. Next up is a native wildflower garden and the expansion of our native plant demonstration site to surround the Visitor Center.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help with this project on a regular basis. If interested, send e-mail to our Volunteer Coordinator.

Our ultimate goal is a robust habitat along the Guadalupe River that supports wildlife and serves as an outdoor classroom for our nature education programs.

Thanks to Cisco for their help kicking off of our River Stewards project.

River Clean Up

Last fall's storms deposited a lot of trash on the river's embankments. Join us on March 23rd from 10am - 1 pm as we get the park ready for April's festivities.

The Donor Walkway

A paver or bench plaque in the Donor Walkway at Arena Green makes a lasting gift to honor or remember someone special in your family, business, or social circle. This enduring tribute is also a great, tax-deductible way to support park development. Pavers are available in three sizes for a donation of $250, $500, or $1,000. Logos can only be engraved on the large $1000 paver size. More info.
