Guadalupe River Park Conservancy Survey Request

We had a small glitch with one of the questions on the survey, but the SJSU students have fixed it. There’s no need to repeat the survey, but for those who didn’t get a chance to take it, please visit the link now. Your answers will help improve the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens.

Our early bird prize winner was Pat Koopman. We have more movie tickets (courtesy of Camera Cinemas) and the grand prize – a rose adoption ($50 value) in Guadalupe Gardens’ Heritage Rose Garden.

Guadalupe River Park Conservancy is once again the beneficiary of Dr. Peter Haas’ research methods class. His SJSU graduate students have devised a survey that will help us understand how people use parks and, in particular, perceive Guadalupe River Park & Gardens.

We would greatly appreciate your participation in this survey. Please enter your email address to be eligible for a gift certificate for a one year rose adoption ($50 value) in the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden.

Public Service Announcement - Water scarcity is emerging as a dominant issue. Our ability to successfully meet this challenge will depend on both the water industry’s ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the public and the choices the public will make regarding the management of water. The WateReuse Foundation is holding two sessions tomorrow, November 17, to focus on these issues. The sessions will last two hours - 4:30 to 6:30 pm or 7:00 to 9:00 pm - at the West Valley Branch Library Community Room, 1243 San Tomas Aquino Road (at Saratoga Ave.), San Jose, CA 95117. The sessions will be facilitated by the researchers, and light refreshments will be served courtesy of CH2M HILL.  They would greatly value your opinion on the important topics that will be explored. If you are interested in attending, please contact Jeannine Larabee at 408-265-2607, ext. 3201 or email her at jlarabee@valleywater.org to schedule for either time slot.
