Happy Thanksgiving

In this time of reflection, we are grateful for our amazing board of directors, members, volunteers, and corporate and foundation supporters.

We appreciate how fortunate we are to work in such a wonderful park and thought that you might enjoy a recent highlight. Local photographer Greg Kerekes captured Chinook salmon spawning in the downtown segment of the river earlier this month. While there are plenty of challenges, we’re grateful that we have this amazing living stream in our midst – and that civic leaders had the foresight to establish Guadalupe River Park & Gardens.

Whether you’re participating in the Turkey Trot or just need some fresh air, we hope you’ll visit the park this weekend. The fall colors are lovely.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving,

The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy staff
