Geocaching

The GRPG has many geocaches hidden throughout! To search the official database, visit www.geocaching.com

Throughout our web site you will notice that many features have the geographic coordinates, i.e. lattitude and longitude underneath the title. You can copy and paste those into mapping web sites, such as Google maps to see exactly where they. Many of them do not have an exact address, so this can be valuable when searching for a specific feature.

We offer a great geocaching field trip! Though it's designed for kids, adults enjoy it in sort of a "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" way. Explore one of Silicon Valley’s most precious natural resources.

• Discover navigation tools past and present
• Use handheld GPS units (provided) to fi nd your latitude and longitude
