On
Saturday, October 14, 2006 the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens
hosted the 11th annual Pumpkins in the
Park, an environmental harvest festival for
young families designed to create awareness of the Guadalupe River and
celebrate the fall season. 10,000 to 12,000 people attended Pumpkins
in the Park to learn about the Guadalupe River, make scarecrows, decorate pumpkins, taste
apples and cider, listen to great music, eat great food and
partake in countless other activities.
We Needed
Volunteers, and we got them!
We had more volunteers than ever. Lucy Perez
and all of the event planners would like to thank the countless
volunteers who made this event possible.
