The next Pumpkins in the Park will take place October 9, 2010!

On Saturday, October 10, 2009 the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens hosted the 15th annual Pumpkins in the Park, an environmental harvest festival for young families designed to create awareness of the Guadalupe River and celebrate the fall season.  10,000 to 12,000 people attended Pumpkins in the Park to learn about the Guadalupe River, make scarecrows, decorate pumpkins, taste apples and cider, listen to great music, eat great food and  partake in countless other activities.

--Purchase a minimum $35 new membership with Guadalupe River Park Conservancy and we’ll give you two (2) ticket vouchers for free (while supplies last). If you’re already a member, you can upgrade your membership or purchase a gift membership for friends or family.

You will be required to take your vouchers to the HP Pavilion ticket office to exchange them for the actual tickets. The sooner you take your vouchers to the box office, the better seats you'll get. These vouchers are only good for the following shows:

Zero Waste

We've decided to make this a Zero Waste Event as defined by the City of San Jose. We hope you can help us meet the requirements...here are some of the things we are doing:

  • Eco-Stations will be strategically located throughout the event. They will offer visitors the option to place things in the trash, in the recycling bin, or in the composting bin. Volunteers will staff each station to help people make the right choice.
  • All of the food we will be serving will be compostable itself and be served on paper products that can be composted.
  • Many of the materials used to produce the event are reusable, such as burlap table clothes, reusable signage, etc.
  • We've gone almost entirely digital...very few paper fliers were printed this year!
