before judging. Individuals will be judged separately.
-
Please register by Friday, October 3, 2008 if you
would like to participate.
-
Scarecrows must be delivered to the event site
(Discovery Meadow, GRPG), ready to go, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00
p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2008. Directions will be mailed in
advance.
-
If you would like to keep your scarecrow, it must
picked up between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on October 11, 2008.
Scarecrows not picked up will be donated to a worthwhile cause, if

-
Please make your scarecrow both wind and water

your scarecrow. Please limit scarecrow height to 6 feet. Make sure
you bring whatever tools and materials you need to secure your
scarecrow to the ground the day of the drop off, i.e. hammer and
stakes, sand bags, etc. Leave valuable items that are part of your scarecrow at your own risk...we cannot guard the scarecrows at all times.
-
Judging will take place during Pumpkins in the Park
