Donor Walkway
 The Donor Walkway in Arena
Green provides an opportunity for members of the
public to support the River Park & Gardens by
purchasing a granite paver and inscribing it with their
family or company name, message or logo. Pavers are
available in three sizes for a donation of $250, $500, or
$1,000. Park benches that line the Donor Walkway cost $2,500 and include a circular bronze inscription plaque.
Your name on that bench or paver lasts forever and lets
everyone know you have contributed to making this

 Adopt-a-Rose
Program
An Adopt-a-Rose program in
the Heritage Rose Garden allows
individuals to adopt a rose for a donation of $50.00 a year
(with renewal encouraged) and provides for a plaque to be placed
in front of the rose with a personal inscription from the donor.
You can Adopt-A-Rose at anytime though there are special
Adopt-a-Rose promotions twice a year--at Valentine's Day
and Mother's Day. Call the Garden Center, 408-298-7657, for
information and adoption forms.

 Adopt-a-Rose
for Mother’s Day
Give your
mother something unique, personal, and truly meaningful this
Mother’s Day. Adopt a rose in the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden
and present your mom with a very attractive gift package that
contains potpourri made from rose petals from the Heritage Rose
Garden, a chocolate truffle from Schurra’s, and a handmade bar
of bee’s wax soap. We’ll package these items for you, along with
a card announcing the rose adoption, in an eye-catching gift box
with a festive ribbon. This special gift package is available
for $50.00, inclusive of the rose adoption, which consists of a
plaque with your personal message for mom installed by her rose
for a full year.
If you order
your rose by May 1st, we will have the plaque with your special
inscription made and installed in the Heritage Rose Garden by
Mother’s Day, May 11th. That way, Mother’s Day might include a
visit to Guadalupe Gardens so she can see “her” rose! If you
miss the May 1st deadline, you can still present her with the
package and arrange a visit to the Garden at a later date.

available for pick up starting May 7th, Tuesday through Friday
at the Visitor and Education Center at 438 Coleman Avenue.
*Our on-line ordering process will take your payment and general contact
info, then we'll contact you to get the specifics, i.e. rose choice,
inscription, etc. We cannot ship your
Valentine's Day package, pick up only!

group tours of Guadalupe Gardens and the Guadalupe River Park
