The Cedar Waxwing is about 7 inches in length, with a cinnamon—yellow colored body, grey wing tips, and a black mask. Waxwings like to forage on fruit, berries, and vegetation, but will resort to flycatching if fruit is scarce.
Fun Fact Occasionally, a waxwing eats old fruit that has fermented, leaving the bird temporarily intoxicated and unable to fly.
