Painting in the Rose Garden

Date - 05/27/17
10:30 am - 12:30 pm

What better way to learn painting roses than outside in our famous Heritage Rose Garden? The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden (HRG) is a unique collection of 3,600 antique and modern roses. Established in 1995 through an extensive community effort, the garden contains 2,600 varieties, more varieties than any other rose garden in the Western Hemisphere

Join Guadalupe River Park Conservancy and artist, Heather Engle, to learn the proper technique for painting a rose. The inspiration will be in full force while outdoors and surrounded by our unique collection of roses.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own pigments so that they can continue the painting when they return home. Minimum pigments: red, yellow, blue, black, and brown.

$25/members, $30/non-members
