Birding for Beginners and Beyond!

Led by our expert Guadalupe Guide, Carter, this workshop will introduce you to the world of birds! Designed with beginners and families in mind, this two-hour class will walk you through the basics of binocular use, then take you throughout our beautiful urban park to look for birds along the river, in the meadow, and in our Heritage Rose Garden. Along the way, you’ll learn about bird habitat, identification tips, birding equipment, field etiquette, Internet resources, and more!
