The A-B-C’s of Bee keeping!

Date - 04/02/16
10:00 am - 11:30 am

Join Santa Clara Valley Bee Guild and Delta Bee Club member Alan Henninger for a presentation explaining the mysteries of bees. Learn what is required to set up a hive and get help identifying the inhabitants. Did you know that honey bees are not native to California, or that beekeepers rent out their hives to help pollinate fruit and nut trees? For an added bonus, Nella Henninger will show some of the by-products of beekeeping: honey and beeswax figures and candles. Gain a new found appreciation for some of the hardest working insects on our planet!
