Corporate & Community Support
Guadalupe River Park Conservancy envisions an active, iconic, world-class Civic Greenway in Downtown San Jose encompassing gardens, trails, and parks where residents and visitors alike can experience open space and natural habitats in the heart of Silicon Valley. The Conservancy is leading the march towards redevelopment, activation, and stewardship of the park and gardens, with the aim of building a lasting park for the ages.
Corporate Partner Program
Becoming a Corporate Partner is a meaningful way to give back to the community through volunteer opportunities, create a positive corporate image, demonstrate social responsibility, and provide community leadership. Program Sponsorships & Grants
The Guadalupe River Park & Gardens is an education destination like no other. A natural oasis located in the heart of downtown San Jose, the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens (GRPG) features 254 acres of park that include the Heritage Rose Garden, the Historic Orchard, a community garden, and 2.6 miles of trail that runs adjacent to the Guadalupe River.
Education: GRPC delivers a number of place-based and hybrid/distance-learning education programs to thousands of youth in Silicon Valley.
- Beginning Environmental Explorers (BEE) offers free environmental science programs to children ages 2-6.
- Field Trips: Guadalupe River Park & Gardens is a natural outdoor laboratory for science experiments, a creative and dynamic atmosphere for learning, and a perfect destination for field trips. We deliver field trip programs to over 6,000 students in the region, over half from Title I schools.
Stewardship and Engagement: Through volunteerism, events, and community leadership, GRPC acts as the civic voice for neighborhood development through parks.
- Rotary PlayGarden: Promote universal play through investment in San Jose’s first all-inclusive playground.
- Historic Orchard and Heritage Rose Garden: Support the restoration and ongoing preservation of our Gardens’ assets.
- Volunteerism: Community work days engage the local community in the active stewardship of the Guadalupe Gardens and Trail.
- Engagement: Through park activation and events such as Pumpkins in the Park, we build community and connect them with one of the City’s most unique assets.
